University Style:The Never Ending Trend

In my opinion, the school goer style has never really been a trend and has definitely never been out of style. It has perhaps been hyped up at certain points but the university student, school boy, school girl style is based around such classic pieces and has an essence of the preparatory schools in America and boarding schools in London that it will truly never go out of style.

With that being said, this fall, it looks like designers are focusing on colors like burgundy, putting an emphasis on black, basing collections in fabrics like wool, getting inspired by iconic time pieces like shoes from the Victorian era (Anna Sui), having fun with texture and playing with black and white, geometric looking patterns.

We can find many of these inspirations in the university prep style, here's your guide....
